That one tear that hovered before falling. 💔Perfect take and superb acting Sam! How many takes were there for that? When Ian said he’d stay. A. Love this episode and emotional moment to say goodbye to Young Ian, practically his son! Proud of him and JB was awesome to play opposite.x Q. So, @SamHeughan and @RikRankin actually, you guys fought excellently. How long did it take to shoot that scene? Did you guys keep a straight face through it all? A. Tough scene, Richard brought a lot of emotion. So strong. In fact, everyone this season has had a lot to play. Not particularly one to mess around in. Was good to finally get a scene with him that didn’t involve me hitting him! Q. What one or two items would you liked to have stolen away to your trailer from season 4....for safe keeping?...

Q. What was your favorite prop from the ep? A. The trephine (the drill for Barton's skull). 💀 Q. Loved changes from book; was strain/discord added for more depth/realism or for suspense for them to rediscover each other A. Yes, strain/discord built in to explore/demonstrate how each has changed after 20 years apart in vastly different centuries. Q. What was the premise of spending the amount of time on Claire as a surgeon? A. C's career is a huge part of her life, seeing her in action helps underscore her jarring transition back to 18th century life. Q. Claire wanting her own establishment isn't mentioned in Voyager.U think she thought about this before going back to the 1700s? A.
